As of February 16th, among the Division 1 teams, SSTMI Thunderbolts are at the top claiming victory in all of the seven matches they have played up till now. Similarly, the MSN/PHP Perlis Young Lions Jr are also at the top of Division 2: North, with six wins to their name and no defeat up till now. Anderson Thunderbolts seem to be at the top of their game in Division 2: Central Zone facing only one defeat alongside five victories. Malacca High leads with five wins in the South Zone of Division 2 with three draws.
Currently, the SSTMI Thunderbolts have a fairly good chance of winning the title, given their lucky streak of winning seven consecutive matches without a single loss on their hands. Pahang Sports School on the other hand seems to have blown its chances at winning the tournament through the recent draw of 3-3 with the OLAK PKT.
Meanwhile, the Women’s Junior Hockey League will be starting from the 19th of February and will continue through till the 10th of April. 14 teams will be participating from nine states. The teams are divided into two groups. The four teams which come out on top in each group will be competing each other in the knockout stage.
